St. George Place–Uptown Livable Centers Study

UltraBarrio helped develop a community-driven vision for St. George Place and Uptown that connects mobility, public space, landscape, and neighborhood identity. Grounded in on-the-ground research and community input, the study identifies opportunities to transform key corridors and public spaces into safer, more comfortable, and better-connected places. Recommendations address pedestrian and bicycle networks, transit connections, streetscape and landscape strategies, environmental resilience, and neighborhood destinations—demonstrating how targeted interventions can strengthen everyday life and build a more connected Houston.
